Not sure what's our status now because nothing has been said or promised. Not sure what he thinks either. I just know that life is good now and I am happier than before. I don't want to lead the kind of life I used to lead, that has not changed.

Fish Leong Concert

Went to Fish Leong's concert on Saturday with Lena and her 2 friends. Thank you for the tickets babe, I know you love me!!!




Stage design was nice. With Valentine's Day as a theme, everything had a romantic touch to it.



Balloons fell onto the audience from above.




There was an encore session after the concert had supposedly ended. I only managed to catch the start of that but left soon after cos was rushing off somewhere.

Overall, the concert was GOOD!!!

Peeps In Town

Had some relatives from KL visiting Singapore over the last few days. 3 Estima with 20 peeps in total, they needed a guide which had a car who could lead them the way to places. That's hubby and me to do the deed for my Mama.

Yun Yi came along with us on Sat when we went to fetch them from the 2nd link. Guided them to Orchard Hotel and took this photo at the candy house while waiting for them to get ready for dinner.

Dinner was an expensive and chaotic affair!! Everybody ordered for everybody, imagine that. Well, it was an early night for all of us cos we're heading to Sentosa on Sunday!!

Come Sunday, the weather was bright and sunny. It had almost been raining everyday last week but yet the weather was great on Sunday. Free trip all expenses paid to Sentosa!!

Parked all of our cars at the Dolphin Lagoon carpark and headed straight to Underwater World!!! It's been ages since I visited this attraction and boy was I happy to be back.

They still had the all-time favourite touch pool thingy which allows kids and adults alike to get physical with the marine fishes.

But what's the best thing about this attraction is the new (at least new to me!) sting ray feeding pool!! It was awesome!!! At specific feeding times, you could actually purchase a bowl of food consisting of about 5 pieces of fish and squid for $3. Hold the feed in your hand and lower it into the pool, the sting ray will just swim over and eat it straight from your hand!!! Mind you, the sting rays are not the little baby ones but rather big adult ones. The experience was awesome, love it!!!

Next stop, 4D Magix. Quite fun, but I probably wouldn't pay to go.

Final stop, Pink Dolphin Lagoon. The mammals were awesome and really beautiful. Yun Yi wanted a picture with them and a chance to touch and interact with them. But we didn't have spare clothes for her, so next time we'll remember.

Merry Christmas

Came back to office today after a great long weekend. And more pressies!!

Actually planned a Christmas dinner as a small gathering for some friends. Turned out to be a dissapointment. Well, all that effort, time and money spent all for nothing. It's a valuable lesson learnt and also made me realise how easy it is for people to just brush things aside.

Never mind, no more gatherings at my place. No more steamboat. No more dissapointments. Some peeps and some efforts are just not worth it. In future if there's no looking forward, there's no dissapointments. I will just let someone else do the job in future.

Should have just went for my $60 Christmas dinner with turkey and all.

All Christmassy Already

Almost everyone bought pressies for everyone in the department. It's that time of the year when you show thanks for people whom have made your life alot better and easier throughout the year.



Opened pressies early cos most of us will be away and only be back in the office after Christmas Day.

Loved what I received and hopefully they like what I got them too.

I Am Oh So Broke

I am so broke.

Been spending and spending and spending non-stop!!! Let's see where did all the moolah went........

- New school shoes. Old ones all worn out.
- New school bag. Strap of the old one torn.
- School books for next year.
- Maid's return air ticket to Cebu. Going back for her home leave in January.
- $300 agency fee for processing maid's home leave application.
- Return maid's savings to her as she's going home.
- Christmas pressies for my staff.

Gosh..... Thank god for year end AWS. One hand in, the other hand out.

Next up is CNY and that's going to cost me another bomb. I am so in need of a break!!!

Swimming Fun

Brought the kids to the newly renovated Woodlands Swimming Complex on Saturday. The complex was packed especially at the kiddy pool area because of the new slide which was built for the kids!!! Nice.



Brought them to MacDonald's for a treat after that. Nothing cheers a child up better than a swim and a visit to the yellow man with red boots.
