Flying High

Was having lunch at this cafe today when I saw a par of flies behaving rather suspiciously. When I tried to wave my hands to chase them away, my efforts were totally ignored. On a closer look, I finally knew why. Thus I decided to leave them alone with some privacy.

They were mating. Ahem. Yes, the pair of flies.

Hahahaha!!! I know this post seems a little meaningless, but I just can't help it. How many of you can actually say that you saw a pair flies mating and even caught it on camera?

Lift Me

When I first came to my current office for the interview, the damn lift wasn't working and I had to climb the stairs right up to the 5th (highest) floor where the reception desk was. By the time I reached the 4th floor landing, this was what I saw.............



I was like, "yeah thanks." Someone obviously hs a wicked sense of humour around here.

Colours Of The Rainbow

Hubby and me have been seeing rainbows so very frequently in the recent months. I think we have seen like 5 rainbows in the past 3 months.



Anyway, just got news that a good friend of mine just got engaged yesterday. Am so happy for her and she deserves the happiness that seems to have evaded her for so long. Congrats babe, I am really happy for you.

So.....that makes 3 of my close friends getting hitched within the next year. Oh my, the thought of the ang paos makes me shudder.

Poo Poo

Didi finally sat on the toilet bowl and pooed today!!! Hopefully he keeps this up. I missed it cos I was still at work in the evening. Sucks.

I am so tired, mentally and physically. I need a drink and a smoke. Sigh.

Updates

Have been so busy at work lately. Not sure if I am enjoying this though. Hopefully it's not a permanent thing. I hate it when work takes away precious time which I spend with my kids.

Finally recontracted hubby's line and managed to get my new phone!!! Love it. And I have hair extensions, since 2 weeks ago!!!

Yun Yi did well in her CA1. Topped her class in English and Chinese paper 2. Swims pretty well now without any swimming boards and can even do the pyjamas thing in the water. And she rides a 2 wheel bicycle now.

Didi talks and talks non-stop. I have been working late the whole week and didn't manage to see him at night. And yesterday morning he sat on my lap and I casually asked him why he woke up so early (he does every morning cos all of us are up). He told me this "Didi wake up so early eh...... wait mummy go work already, didi cannot big hug mummy." Awwww he's so sweet and my heart melted there and then. I felt so guilty.

That's it for now. My life is boring, I know. Won't be for long........wait till I strike toto group 1. Waiting......

Busy ah.......

Serious lack of updates. Been so busy.

Work is going well so far. It's a small world and a pleasant surprise to see 2 ex colleagues whom I had no idea was in the same company until I joined. Feels so good bitching about that bitch during lunch. Wahahahaha!!!

Life is good and I have never been happier. Hopefully it stays this way.
