Bought a cake and also picked up some pasar malam food before heading home for a mini celebration for my little man.

Awww..... my little boy looking at me asking "Mummy, wat you doing?" Never fails to make me grab his head and kiss him!!
His Yi Yi bought him a birthday pressie and gave it to him last weekend. It was this dinosaur which moves and he totally hates it and is scared of it! He refused to bring it home and thus the poor dinosaur is officially my niece's toy now instead of his. Yi Yi had to give him a replacement pressie the next day, a pair of super duper LOUD and NOISY guns!! OMG.
NO. NOISY. LOUD. TOYS. PLEASE.
My little boy finally put on his underwear for the firs time yesterday!!! The maid has to place the underwear in with his pants and wear it for him in one swift movement so that he doesn't get a chance to notice. Hahaha......smart maid eh?
He was so upset when taking his afternoon nap that he was crying and told the maid "Aunty, take out panty ( he knows it as panty not briefs yet thanks to his sister) didi want orh orh dunwan panty!!"
By the time I reach home at 7 plus in the evening, he was already pretty used to it and ran to me to show off to me. Hopefully this lasts, we'll see how he fares today.

- deciding what 4D numbers to buy
- fighting over the psp
I hate it when he goes for reservist. I miss him so badly.
This is a very very late post!!! But better late than never right
Remember I went to Sungei Buloh with hubby sometime back? We also visited the farms around the Lim Chu Kang area and just drove and drove around exploring the place.
First up was of course the goat farm there. I tried the goat's milk and you can even feed the goats there! Go in the mornings and you can even see them milking the goats.
Next, frog farm!! The frogs look better cooked and in pots filled with dark sauce and dried chillies though!
After turning here and there and exploring the place, we arrived here.......
Beautiful sight isn't it? Air was fresh, weather was great and away from all the city buzz. 
You can even see JB from here and aldo some kelongs out in the middle of the sea.
It was kind of a mangrove area and it was low tide then. We saw thousands and thousands of little little crabs crawling on and hiding in the sand. Also not forgetting live mussels!!
We'll bring the kids here and the farms soon, once Yun Yi gets over with her year end exams.
My little boy is officially toilet trained. Finally. Errmmm......only for peeing. He still refuses to poo sitting on the toilet bowl or potty and only does it standing behind the sofa.
He is totally not wearing diapers or daper pants during the day and night. At night he would wake the maid up to pee into his potty or sleeps through the night without peeing. Even today when we brought the kids out, he was without diapers as well. So yes, no need to bring diapers out next time, just standby a few plastic bags for emergencies!!
Now if only we can convince the little guy to wear his briefs and not go all commando under his shorts. And poo where he's supposed to, toilet.
Hubby went back to serve the country yesterday and this time the duration is almost 3 weeks!!!
I am so proud of myself, took bus to work and back home yesterday and bus to work this morning too. Yeah I know it's no big deal, but considering the fact that I have not taken public transport to work in a really long time this is an accomplishment to me liao lor.
Yun Yi accompanied me to bed yesterday as I told her she could sleep over while her daddy is in camp. In the middle of the night, I heard a loud "bang"! She rolled off the bed, just like we expected. See, her own mattress is slightly lower than the metal side on her bed, so there's sort of something to block her from falling off. But not on our bed......... But she just groaned a little and came back up to sleep.
Oh I miss him already.
Me cooking? Ermm.... yes. Wahahaha!!! As my hubby can vouch, I am super good at making pasta in tomato sauce. He has survived a few times to tell the story and upon request I made a comeback yesterday to make lunch for the whole family.
