Yeah yeah, I know this post is so very overdue. I've been busy!! What to do??

For almost the whole of last week. I have not slept more than 4 hours a day. Iam still doing the catching up on my ZzzzZZzzzzsss. And I haven't even been to the River Ang Pao yet!!!

Ahh... being the very cheena family we are, how can we leave out the essentials for CNY? The kids being all bright and cheery on the first day of the lunar new year.

They were in such a good mood that it was a breeze catching them on camera. If only Yong Ye is a patient all the time......

Aiyoh... look at my little boy. Heart melting liao.

Played loads of mahjong and cards this CNY. Lots of food. Organised a gathering for my buds on the 2nd day and thank all of you for coming. It took us alot of time, money and effort to put the dinner together so I was glad the food was appreciated!!! As usual, too busy gambling thus not a SINGLE photo taken!! Next year..... first thing I am going to do is to take a picture of everyone when they walk down the red carpet (ahem aka grey concrete).

Makan King & Spelling Queen

Brought the kids to Mac for brekkie about 2 weekends ago with my mama, sis and her family. Obviously, Yong Ye loved it cos as usual, got food mah!!

He looks dreamy in this pic. Anyway, wasn't long before he started to make funny faces and starts posing for me. All when there's food in his mouth.

He's so playful, cute and cheeky now. Tsk tsk tsk..... how not to love him like that??


Yun Yi is doing great in school now. She has already settled in to the life in primary school and likes it very much. At least up till now!! Spelling (both for English and Chinese) has started a couple of weeks ago and I have turned into the typical kiasu mum. Everytime I see her or talk to her on the phone, first thing I ask will be "have you learned your spelling?" Wahahaha........

But all that didn't go down the drain. She has been scoring perfect marks for all her English spelling since it started and I am so proud of her for that!! Primary One Chinese syllabus has been changed and not the students learn hanyu pinyin first before learning how to write. So her Chinese spelling is only to know the hanyu pinyin of the words. First test she scored 5/8 but second test she got 8/8 liao lor!!! Well done indeed.

All I am hoping is that she will continue to do well and not get too stressed out. Once she gets into the hang of things and don't need me to be so naggy about it, I will be happy liao.

It was barely 20 minutes after I arrived in the office when my desk phone rang. Someone was calling me from the door....... Delivery for me early in the morning........

And I was greeted with a really beautiful bouquet of flowers!!! What a great way to start my day. Thank you for the flowers.

You may not be the best. But you will always be the one and only. Promise.
